Tickets are cheap my azz. The face value for all upper level seats for the Dallas game was $40 before fees. That's stupid.

I got nice seats for $15 on flash seats and half the upper level or more was empty.

Cheapest tickets on the Dynamo website for the next two games are $7 and $24 before fees.

I don't think price is the issue.

My beef is definitely with the owners/front office and not with the fans (or potential fans).

GA season tickets are $300 thats cheap my friend and you can always go on flash seats never buy from the dynamo homepage.

Side note I like the FC Dallas kit pretty catchy.

I'm fully aware of that. I've probably been to 20 games over the past 4 or 5 years, and I maybe bought the tickets directly from the dynamo for 2 of those games. And I get calls every month from the Dynamo sales guy and I always tell him the same thing. As long as I can get way better seats for way cheaper on flash seats secondary market, why would I ever buy tickets directly from the dynamo?

He tries to offer me packages and discounts but he can never get me VIP on the field tickets for less than $60 like I have gotten on flash seats before.

i like going to games there, but i prefer not to roast in the sun at summer time day games. night games only

still just don't get why, with the Houston area's demographics, we can't sell out or get a bigger supporter's section. ...nor do i understand why the supporter's section is on level 2.

I was mortified to find out that the god awful "lets go dynamo" song they play is actually a generic song used throughout the league. Its such a bad song, why copy it in every damn stadium?
What? You don't like it? People go crazy belting that out! And in our case, it rhymes!

Btw that song is "Bro Hymn" by Pennywise.

Houston + outdoors + summer season = sweat soaked experience where players play slower because of how draining the heat is.

I want to use this as an excuse, but Atlanta can't be much nicer, right?

We lead the league in PPG (the only metric I care about with the MLS crazy/disjointed fixture list) by a pretty healthy margin, so the "we'd show up if we were good" bit is rapidly losing credibility.

I'm grabbing tickets on 5/18 when Fat Wayne comes to town

That is one thing that annoyed me. They have "hydration breaks" now. They took one each half on saturday. I guess for day games, but it was only like 73 degrees. Seemed silly and a waste.

My point exactly. Similar weather, amazing attendance.

Mercedes-Benz stadium is indoors though!

BBVA Compass, while a nice more intimate venue to watch a soccer game, is a ****ing oven in the summer.

Ha, I didn't realize it was indoors! But in my defense, they had amazing attendance before Mercedes Benz opened, and were playing outdoors then.

It was pretty sick, not gonna lie. Not a high percentage shot in that situation, but you've got to hand it to him.

If you have to lose 1-0, geez that's the way to do it. That was an absolute rocket.

That being said, we wasted a few good chances and they probably should've converted at least one more. Tough place to play though.
Dre_00

Indeed and even tougher when they are good and they usually are...and are this year. But doesn't look like we played badly at all. Even in a loss, the team looks reasonable.

Mind you I'm still waiting for the other shoe to drop but could we...actually be an above average team?

Until/unless Elis and/or Manotas leave this summer, I believe Houston is one of the most dangerous and exciting teams to watch in MLS this year.

interesting I am big dynamo fan but dangerous teams bury those chances they had on sat .

Speaking of Elis, the rumors to Celtic are popping up again. I didn't realize it but the Dynamo's asking price would set a transfer fee record for Celtic. Unless Elis forces a move, the silver lining is that if Elis' moves, Houston will get a boatload of money by MLS standards.

Of course the tungsten lining to that silver lining is that they'll probably spend 10% of it on the team but I'm choosing to ignore that for now.

Okay but the cotton lining to your tungsten lining is that we'll use that 10% on seven different Hondurans, and we only need one of them to pop.

Was at the game, and it was action-packed! Great to get a win, especially over the leaders of the East!

It is so nice to see Memo do well. It took 13 years but the academy may have actually provided a MLS first team player. Imagine that.

If he keeps this up, a call up to the January camp has to be a possibility.
