Real is my La Liga squad (I know, but I had to follow one football giant or I'd go insane from disappointment) and from everything I've read, they're looking to have a quiet summer and save money for next summer. So they look to be offloading wages as quickly as possible. But like you said, he should be worth something. He is clearly still freakishly talented.

Didn't have a chance to watch this till lunch yesterday but...wow.

It's incredible how 3 players can completely change the way a team plays. The service to Calvert-Lewis and Richarlison is massively improved, and with the improved defensive cover Digne and Coleman are able to push forward way more comfortably and really get involved in the attack. And don't know that it's directly related, but Pickford has been stellar through two games.

James' touch on the ball and vision is just sublime, Doucoure brings great energy and really settles the midfield and plays almost mistake free, and Allan is just such a smart player who's always in the right place to break up the attack. I feel like I'm watching an entirely different team.

I'm definitely liking watching Everton play soccer a lot more than I was 2 months ago. And we got James for free!

League Cup match at 1:45 today against League 1 side Fleetwood Town. Hope to see another dismissal of a lesser side the same way we saw last round.

Yeah, that was solid but really hoping we aren't losing Allan or Richarlison for any extended period of time.

Looks like the latest update is Richarlison might be back for Brighton. Allan will likely be out through international break but back for Derby. Kenney may be back for derby but less certain.

Would rather not have injury issues at all but much less worse than it looked when it happened -- especially with Allan.

Looks like we drew Mancs in league cup quarter final. That will be a fun match to win.

I think its that BHA is average at best in possession.

Iwobi has been a great surprise so far. On a good run of form.

Injury list is growing but the upside is we are at international break and 2 weeks off should clear up some serious issues for our guys - especially Richarlison, Allan, and Coleman.
