We're never going to remove Gregg before the World Cup, but you cant have any hope that he will improve at this point.

They had multiple Panamanian fans running on the field, multiple balls being played on the field, and zero minutes added to the announced minimum 7 minutes of stoppage
The time wasting has to be the most frustrating part of soccer for me.
Did we even get a shot on goal? Either that was the biggest collective failure by the players, or we got our ass kicked in formation/strategy. What a TERRIBLE showing.
concacaf sucks. I don't know why MX, CAN, and USA denote demand the countries develop VAR capability or they lose the right to host games during qualifying. Easy solution to that issue. The crappy officiating is not so easily fixable.

And this game was lost before the kick. That lineup was terrible. Playing for the tie. The subs were hardly better. The supposed depth are jags who have proven not capable of rising to the moment. When your lineup is loaded with them, this is the result.

I think this game is probably some of the worst in-game subbing and adjustments Gregg has had.
How could he watch the first half, and make the changes he did. THen watch the first 15-20 of the 2nd half, and make the next 3 changes.

This squad is not deep enough to beat (even tie) a Panama team that has flexed it’s muscles already in WCQ. This squad can’t build on a past performance if key players are missing.

We have the players to rotate through the 3 games, the coach has to choose the right players. Not just players he likes because he is familiar with them from MLS

Yeah. We weren't asking our guys to do anything outside their capabilities. It seemed like their want-to or energy or give-a-damns were all broken. Is a part of that on the coaching staff? Sure. But also our players are professionals and they need to execute at a basic level.
We don't have the depth for 3 different teams. There has to be some continuity. Complete lack of cohesion today, top to bottom.

Panama clearly had a plan on corners. They were in swingers aimed right at goal. The two before the OG were literally on goal and Turner had to make tap over saves. They had a plan. It paid off. Welcome to pressure Gregg.
Yeah, that has nothing to do with the last two years, that's a simple in game tactics question.
I'm glad that I stayed away from the game thread yesterday. Wouldn't have been good for the mentals. Already a frustrating enough game.
