While it's not technically wrong, claiming Funes Mori is like us taking credit for Kyler's Heisman.jessexy said:
8 FC Dallas players involved in this game tonight
Pepi
Ferreira

Funes Mori
That's astounding.

My Lord. That was the best I've seen the USMNT play in awhile. Just so smooth and together. Passing was immaculate in the attack. Weah was particularly excellent. Just wow

Without CP playing 90, no Gio, no Dest, no Brooks
Weah is a lightening bolt. There's no other analogy. Damn.BJM1781 said:

1 of those may not longer be the same as the other 3. I really wonder if Brooks is a regular starter going forward.

As much as the announcers acted like it was a supremely different 2nd half (and it was better, don't get me wrong)… this is the first game I've seen from us in WCQ where we looked like the better team the whole game.

A poster from another forum wrote "Call them LLL Tri". XD
Tim Weah says it was him and DeAndre Yedlin who told the equipment manager to make the "Man in the Mirror" shirt for Christian Pulisic. #usmnt

I haven't really been able to catch a full USA game since the Honduras game. The US looked really in sync and attacking well.
This game was so much fun to watch and there was so much nice tick tacking play in the central midfield.
And we didn't even need pulisic for the full game.
The second half was as good as I've seen us look under GB.
Captain America.

Great result tonight!
What was Twellman's deal slobbering all over Mexico for 70 minutes? I'm no expert, but I felt like I was watching an entirely different match than him.

Gentleman, our best players haven't played together yet. Reyna better get healthy or he might lose his spot.

Maybe already discussed, but is there significance with man in the mirror?
I've always thought of it as a "be the change you want to see" phrase. I guess I'm interpreting it as him taking the team on his shoulders. Almost like Thanos at the end of Age of Ultron, "Fine, I'll do it myself"
