It's bizarre.

As much as the announcers acted like it was a supremely different 2nd half (and it was better, don't get me wrong)… this is the first game I've seen from us in WCQ where we looked like the better team the whole game.

I can't even name a guy who looked out of place tonight. That rarely has ever happened when the US is playing a match like this.

Yedlin deserves a lot of credit tonight he was shut down.

What was Twellman's deal slobbering all over Mexico for 70 minutes? I'm no expert, but I felt like I was watching an entirely different match than him.

Anyone else here play PES from back when Jon Champion was the announcer? Hearing that dude yell "POTENTIALLY DECISIVE" about my favorite team in its biggest game in real life gave me absolute chills and made me all misty.

That was a really fun second half. Team plays completely different with Pulisic on the field. He's a killer. There are several guys that are on the cusp of also being great. I love watch Weah with the ball, just feels like you have to watch when he's got possession. I'd love it if more of our guys were playing in Europe, the experience that players like Pulisic and McKennie are getting over there is invaluable. Not everyone knows how to finish, almost like they're surprised when the opportunity presents itself.

Y'all should have watched the Univision coverage. They called it like it felt. First half was back and forth, and second half was for the US (clearly).

I've always thought of it as a "be the change you want to see" phrase. I guess I'm interpreting it as him taking the team on his shoulders. Almost like Thanos at the end of Age of Ultron, "Fine, I'll do it myself"
