It's surprising since I don't think he's ever even lived in the United States.

Just wanted to clarify that I meant it is surprising for him to be "really into it", not surprising that he'd be participating in singing it.

Good point. Maybe it's just the sports/events where it's in a more favorable time zone and where we are David vs Goliath.
