This game has largely been frustrating to watch
Paul gets his leg broken and they give the ball to Jamaica.
It's amazing how every away game = the world is ending when you're just having to follow based on web comments.

Pitch was terrible.
jamaica was robbed of a goal and missed a tap-in opportunity. lucky to get a point. one of our worst overall performances in WCQ so far. only not worse than the one in el salvador because of Weah's early goal.

He has both his arms on Zimmerman's shoulders holding him down. There's no world where Zimmerman is not able to get up for that ball if he is not being fouled. There's no one around them, the ref has clear line of sight of it happening and he calls it before the header even happens
I don't like Oguchi.
In a game like that we generated a ton of crossing opportunities from the wing and didn't hit a single good cross in. When you're playing on a crappy pitch you have to have good service. Especially when we're going out of our way to generate possession down the wing someone on the field has to be able to hit a cross in.

We played very mediocre after Jamaica scored the equalizer. The first 20 minutes we looked great

Take a look at the zoo after we lost to Arkansas. That's what we just did. It's not even the loss (or draw, in this case). It's the fact that other than for a few moments (Spiller's TD run/Weah's goal), we didn't even look like we belonged.

that's a huge problem when we get to Qatar.. if heaven forbid, Weston or Adams or worst nightmare both are not available for an important match, we're Effed. We need more talented depth in the midfield. Musah and Busio are coming along nicely, but still such a drop in our whole squad without Weston today.boogieman said:

The problem for USA is very similar for Mexico. USA gets up for Mexico since that is a huge rivalry, and similarly Mexico tends to play down to their competition and only gets up for big time games against the traditional world powers. (Not so much against USA though.)
It's incredibly frustrating.
Hope we pull it out vs Canada tonight.
