I hope they move or reschedule the match. It'll be very ugly soccer if it's played at those conditions.

Will be 3 deg at game time with 10 mph winds. Better than the 20 mph winds we're getting today. I'm here in Minneapolis, but will be watching from the comfort of my warm couch.

Honduras is eliminated, sitting on 3 points with a -14 GD and no manager. If we can't beat them then I don't know what to say.

What did you say after the T&T loss?

The USSF ****ed this worse than a duck in a spartan war camp.

What's sad is that the stated criteria were minimizing travel and having a friendly environment. Both are reasonable goals… Minnesota actually kinda fails at the minimizing travel though. If you're gonna try to minimize travel impact, then you stick to the same time zone.

Nashville and Charlotte are in the same ballpark in terms of distance and are actually in the same time zone. Both will also be a heck of a lot colder than Honduras, without being a sub-zero outlier that's also way too cold for most Americans.

Yes, it is very very very dumb to schedule the game the way they did. Yes, we have not played very well lately, and yes I dont have a ton of confidence in GGG.

Why would it make you want to watch the game less or lower your enthusiasm?

It's been really weird to see the way ESPN and their crews have reacted to the loss the other night and the game today. I get that excitement of any kind, even negative, drives viewership, but they basically had Twellman making the rounds yesterday freaking out and allowing folks like Stephen A Smith and the PTI guys throwing tantrums about the state of US Soccer.

My bad on Nashville… mixed it up with Knoxville and thought it was further East. Point remains for Charlotte. Honestly, Atlanta wouldn't have been an unreasonable flight either.

Yes there will be fans (40,000 fans showed up to watch our hockey team play outdoors in a baseball stadium a month ago) and we will be loud

My daughter is required to go outside for recess if it's -10 F actual temperature or higher. It will not be that cold tonight.
