Arsenal news/rumors this morning...

- Bayern Leverkusen are said to be interested in Granit Xhaka however there have been no discussions between the clubs thus far.

- Per Ornstein, Fulham are in talks to sign Bernd Leno. Leno would prefer to stay in London so this could have some legs.

- Arsenal have supposedly made contact with the agent of Jarrad Bowen to gauge interest in a move.

- According to Italian media, Atalanta is interested in bringing in Nuno Tavares on loan.

55m is way too steep for a guy that would have take time from Saka or Martinelli.

I'd really like that Bowen signing. Dude looks legit. But he's English, at an English club and has a contract till 2025. He isn't leaving West Ham for anything short of an insane cost

Apparently the 19 year old striker from So Paulo (Marquinhos) is a done deal. Expected to go out on loan after training with first team in preseason.

Arsenal news/rumors for the last couple of days...

- Belgian media reporting that we have been in contact with Tieleman's entourage for more than a month and could get a deal done quickly after the break. The more interesting part is the wording they used... "could get the deal quick IF NECESARRY". Not sure if that is a lost in translation thing or if they are indicating that we may be exploring other options?

- Leno's agent confirms interest from Fulham as well as "some other clubs"

- More links for Nuno to Atalanta. They want him to replace Gosens on the left. Not sure I like this move assuming we see him as a future LB. Atalanta play 3 at the back so he would be playing LWB instead of LB. Having Nuno play further up the pitch would be good for raising his short term value but it does nothing to help improve his defensive deficiencies.

- French media claiming that Marseille are interested in a loan move for Nuno.

- Watts is saying that the feeling he gets from talking to people at Arsenal over the last several weeks is that they want to get some sales/loans done before committing to any incoming transfers.

- Italian media are linking Pablo Mari with a transfer move to Milan & Lazio

- Richarlison supposedly turned down an Arsenal move in favor of a move to Chelsea or Spuds.

- Fiorentina supposedly offered 6m GBP for Torreira after rejecting the agreed upon 12m GBP buy option. The claim states that our front office was so pissed that they didn't even bother to respond.

- Spanish media linking us to a move for Marco Asencio as RW & AM depth. Asencio has 1 yr on his deal and extension negotiations aren't going well. Milan, Juvenuts, Liverpool & ManU also linked.

- Newly promoted Nottingham Forrest interested in AMN for their open RB/RWB spot.

October is gonna be tough

Europa League Group Stage going on in October too.

We already have some injury prone guys who also play for their national team. Too many minutes.

Yeah thats why I said 9 games in Oct. 6 PL & 3 EL.

16 PL + 6 EL + 1 EFL in 14 weeks. Basically a game every 4 days. Also an 2 match international break in September.

Honestly, we don't have the depth for this even if we do only play kids in the cup matches

Apparently about to sign Fabio Vieira from Porto. Definitely out of nowhere, but everyone is running with the story. He plays mostly as a 10 so it'll be interesting to see how he's played.

Dude had 6 goals & 16 assts in all comps with less than 1600 min played. Most of his starts were at AM but he also played CM, ST & W. Could be a signing for the LCM spot or could be a multi-positional rotation player until he nails down a role.

Romano said Arsenal are still working toward Tielemans as well. I think Vieira is definitely gonna be floating around the 8-10 spot as needed.

Probably means if Xhaka is interested in leaving he can.
