This is absolutely fascinating. Who exactly is supposed to be scoring a goal in these teams that are picked? At least you actually had Aubamayang on the bench for this one. The difference between Tuchel and Potter is that Tuchel could win with all defense and nicking a goal from a wingback. Potter has no clue what to do with this strikerless team.

Havertz is so snakebit right now. Absolutely beautiful goal called back for offside, shot off the post from open play, pen off the post. So glad he scored the second pen, and hopefully that can open the floodgates a bit.
There's no doubt that the team was in their own heads a bit about their form. Hopefully we can start stringing together some dubs now.
And FWIW, the encroachment decision was absolutely correct. Complaints about that aside, Chelsea clearly looked the better team across the course of both legs. Created more/better chances both home and away. And Bellingham looks a right *****.

It was a promising first 10 with the line up that Lampard chose, but after that it's been the usual. We do the standard stuff just fine, get to the attacking third and have NO ideas.

Sounds like Pochettino is getting the job, I'm good with that. I wasn't big on Nagelsmann, I was just too worried about his age, thought he was too young. I really wanted Luis Enrique but I can accept Pochettino. The last team Chelsea hired a guy fired by PSG they won the UCL, but this team has a way to go.
