Cannon was terribad. Absolutely rinsed multiple times in the span of 90 seconds, the 2nd time leading directly to their second goal.

Thanks for sharing. I only had time to watch half of this, but considering they've already repeated the same points several times, I think I get the jist… and I agree wholeheartedly with just about everything.

Our spacing is horrendous and contributes to a lot of these giveaways. When we have it in our own end, they're too far apart and not working into open spaces to give guys options (as previously mentioned). When we did get into the opposing half, they'd all bunch up like a kids game, either clogging up the space or running into someone else's space making a traffic jam. When it's that tight, you better be able to think fast like Barca/Spain did, or you just give it away due to the traffic. Needless to say, we still have slow head clocks compared to other parts of the world.

It was like watching my kids play a Houston Dynamo Catalyst team....

Vines is not good.

Adams is not catching enough heat. He was bad or not existent.

Weston was bad and uninspired.

Aaron Schlong is probably not the answer, but he is getting more heat than he maybe should. He wasn't good, but others were more terrible.

If we can't find a real striker, I like Sargent. Dude works up there. I would prefer a real striker, but don't think one will magically appear in time.

This is the first game in quite awhile that our side did not appear faster than the other guys. Not quicker either. They played like some kids that went out drinking last night.

I liked it. I also agree with their commentary this is not the time for a tryout. The summer was the time for a tryout and I complained about GGG not calling in enough guys for a tryout in the summer.

Two things that will always bug me about Berhalter.

1. His brother hired him. And the only other “interview” was a 30 minute phone call with Pareja.

2. MLS media tried to sell him as the American Pep. An average coach in a weak East Conference who went to one MLS Cup.

Yea, from what I can tell they do a live recording stream. Then later in the day, or the next, they release clips that remove a lot of that repitition and break it up into topics. Conrad actually is great when he is talking the game, but he also seems to be a big cornball which can get old.
I think I like Heath Pearce's takes the most from the couple videos I have watched.

I think this guy is the person I tend to share opinions with the most, out of all of the people that put out tweets/content for soccer. You obviously dont always agree with someone, but he will usually at least somewhat explain his viewpoint.

Both of those things are true but neither one of them bothers me about Berhalter as he didn't perpetrate them. More of an indictment on USSF.

The #USMNT moved the ball toward Japan's goal at an average speed of 0.62 meters/second.

That's the second-slowest rate in any of the team's 55 games under Berhalter. 🐢
