And feeding off the crowd's energy.

I can understand why Iran played the way they did given their domestic issues, so I can't fault them or their fans for not feeling super pumped right now.

But the difference between Saudi/Tunisian fan support and Qatar's is night and day, and exposes yet another farce of them hosting this WC.

Tunisia is a different category than Qatar, Iran and Saudi Arabia. They are an African nation that plays better teams to qualify.

Also Iran isn't Arabian they are Persians. There is more bad blood there so cross cheering isn't a thing.

Deschamp plays not to lose and grinds out results. You can say th is French team is so talented that they win despite their manager.

Pretty crazy how deep they are that the best CB in EPL so far this season, Saliba, is riding the pine for this French outfit. Neither Konte nor Pogba is available for the WC so they bring in Camavinga and Tchouameni, both contributors at Real Madrid.
