Well, Gunners, if it makes you feel better, Chelsea fleeced us, too.
What a strange win with a GK in the pipes who looked lost 2 weeks ago.
That's 2 in a row where the defense was a very compact 5-4-1, or in the case of the last 65 minutes a 5-3-1.

At this rate of progression, the man will be getting a testimonial.
Seen enough already to know that this game will not be a step forward. Defense is all over the place. Yoro has gotten torched twice and Lisandro just needlessly stepped up to allow two huge chances that Onana somehow saved.

I stepped away for 5 minutes and missed the Garnacho chance. Was wondering how we managed a xG of .92. That chance alone had to be most of it.
Anyway, we may win. Will probably lose. Either way this team has undone the goodwill from Liverpool and Arsenal. If you can't beat Southampton at home, it doesn't really matter if we manage a gritty draw at Liverpool and at Arsenal.

Amorim appears to have thrown in the towel. Collyer and Zirkzee on for Hojlund and Ugarte. I thought Ugarte has been the only player to play decently but guess Amorim is going to lose with players who want to play rather than lose with players who don't.
