Dumb question, but when you buy RTB tickets, do you next have to spend an additional cost on actual tickets? Do you get to chose those actual tickets or are they selected by FIFA at any price? thanks

I just don't see how this ends well. For fans coming from abroad, who typically have less disposable income than Americans, I just don't see how a lot of people are going to afford it. Euros are used to paying at most 60 euros to see major CL matches. Especially for them to sell out 80k seat stadiums for 104 matches. I had friends go to Qatar that went to 4-5 matches for around $500-700 total.
Air travel and hotel prices are all up, sounds like entry Visa things are going to be a problem, transportation around these major cities.
I do think the big nations will have big crowds, but I've been to USA v Mexico games at AT&T that were 60% full. The other non-Top 10 countries are not gonna sell out imo and could end up looking very bad in the lower bowls of these stadiums because people aren't gonna want to pay $500 to see Nigeria v Iceland.

I was able to get in during the Visa presale but didn't end up buying anything because of the prices. I'm likely completely off base, but I just don't see how a midweek game during the day for Venezuela vs Senegal or something like that is going to stay this expensive. Category 2 is the 400 level already in Dallas or Houston and they wanted $350/seat

Thanks for the heads up on this. My FIL is at a pretty high level with them so I'm gonna try and work a deal with him. The conversion to cash value is always wonky, but I'm hoping they got a deal and they'll be cheaper than current prices.TRM said:
If you don't get in during the Visa presale, American Advantage members get a chance at tickets on Oct 13th.
The booming business of ticket scalping for profit absolutely sucks. https://t.co/Pp9smMTxIY
