A&M returns to SEC play on the road this Thursday. They'll be at Auburn for a 6:30 kickoff.

Auburn is currently 4-2-2. They opened SEC play last Friday with a 1-1 tie at Ole Miss.

They dominated several lesser opponents in non-conference play posting shutout wins against Southern Miss (3-0), Kennesaw State (6-0), Utah Valley (2-0), and FGSU (5-0). They dropped games to #11 BYU (0-2) and to Louisville (0-1). They also tied Samford (0-0).

Altogether, Auburn has outscored opponents 17-4, posting shutouts in 5 matches.

So far it's a game of seeing how long the goalie can stop Auburn from scoring. Do the Aggies not have an offensive scheme other than wearing out the Auburn offensive players in the first half.

Veronda played her heart out, but when there is lack of talent in front of her, it will take a Herculean effort to shut out an opponent. She gave it her all and after missing all of last year after a season ending injury game 1, it was great to see her in action tonight. She was emotional after the match, but she was amazing out there and played like a warrior.

We were ahead of Georgia and Auburn in the RPI as well. They were 62 and 75 respectively and we got shut out by both.

I really don't wanna see what our game stats were for our offense. Zero strategy offensively. Way too many turnovers. Veronda showed some serious diversity. Bright side anything can happen in sec play. Pray for a miracle.

Veronda had 9 saves last I saw! Does anyone know why she played over Fuller? Real happy she got the chance! I know she's disappointed with the lone goal but it was bound to happen with all the pressure.

Fuller seemed fine on the bench, camera showed her hugging a teary eyed Verona after the game.

Not sure what you do now for Arkansas on Sunday. Georgia's a lot better offensively than Auburn, but Veronda looked great tonight! Can either of them play defensive back

It was terrible. I checked in at the 75 minute mark and we had 2 total shots, none on goal. That's borderline embarrassing

Last 3 games, we've had a total of 6 shots on goal combined.

Kind of an odd stat for a team where the coach told the media last year that his goal scorers weren't cutting it and he needed to get better ones. Then come pre season said don't judge us on a bunch of girls that left after getting 10th in the conference
