Coach G is leaving the program in far worse shape then when he first started

Def an excuse for a coach that knows he's outdated by the modern game. They wouldn't do it, but wish they'd do a mid season firing and start the search now. This season is trashed

Need a come to Jesus moment with the coaching staff. Feel like they have the parts, just not the game strategy. At this point, why not mix it up with whoever is on the bench?

I've seen a little bit of them and just finished their highlights vs Vandy. They have some ATHLETES. They are fast and they can move with the ball. They're a super young team but I think they'll take about 20 shots against us

They got bit pretty hard by the injury bug this year. Several players out for the season and they still find a way to win

So many concerning things.

In the off-season, coach said Scranton was a lock-down defender and best defender in the entire portal.....

This team, like so many recent teams, just doesn't create shots ON GOAL. In large measure, to me, that's because there's no creative energy in midfield other than Buchanan. Can't depend on one player to carry the entire offense creation.

The passing by this team is sometimes horrendous. Just in the first half alone v Auburn, the defenders gave the ball away on lateral passes among themselves at least four times. If we can't pass laterally between the back four, well that's not good.

The best 3 defenders in the portal were ArmentA, Calzada and Matula

Leb has played extremely well at center back for TCU this year also.

That is a reflection of the coach. No one is going to support a dead program, rightly so. I think we will see a change after his contract is not renewed, and we hire a new coach next season.

He also said this team was better than last year… he's not the most honest person in the world. He's Mr. Excuses… A shame he has to keep blaming different things after every loss. Last year it was the players itself and the refs, this year it's been the other teams facilities and now it's our fault. 8 more games of this and a new era of Aggie Soccer is here!

While this is true, who is going to support a program that basically had a mutiny and almost everyone left the program? We are waiting for the new coach to arrive, and depending on whom it is, they will get some money to spend.

Also, we are one of the few programs that is fully funding the entire roster. So there's that.

A couple of suggestions:

Maybe Set up a NIL goal incentive program. 2000 for the players that scores one. Money for saves the defenders and goalie make?

Relieve G of his duties now and let the team coach itself for the rest of the season? .

I don't know, but something has got to give. These game threads read like a soccer nightmare. Same scenario plays out each game.
