Another weekend of relegation football is at hand, with the focus turning this weekend to the three clubs who are still seeking to avoid the last relegation spot. Wolves and Burnley are now officially relegated, leaving one spot open. Leeds play an FA Cup semi this weekend, so their match was played earlier in the week against Bournemouth. Our three main contenders for the last relegation spot all play this weekend, however, so will be some great entertainment.

Key Weekend Relegation Matches
Today (Friday)
Sunderland v. Nottingham Forest (2pm, USA Network, Stadium of Light)Forest make the trip north to Sunderland for a Friday night matchup with the Black Cats. Both clubs are in good form, with Sunderland winning three of their last five (3-2-0 for 9 points) and Forest undefeated in their last five (2-0-3 for 9 points). Forest are probably two wis away from guaranteeing themselves safety, but they would probably fancy a point tonight up in Sunderland, always a difficult place to play. The clubs last met in late September at Nottingham, with Sunderland claiming a 1-0 victory, but that was two managers ago for Forest, so I am sure that game is all but forgotten.
Saturday
West Ham v. Everton (9:00am, Peacock, London Stadium)West Ham will welcome the Toffees to East London, looking to claim three points and keep the gap over Tottenham. West Ham have definitely played better as of late, claiming points in four of their last five (2-1-2 for 8 points), and Everton have the same record and point total over their last five matches. The Hammers have some tricky fixtures coming up, so claiming three points and keeping the pressure on the Spurs will be vital. Everton still hold European aspirations, as they are only 3 points behind 6th place, so the Toffees will be keen to claim three points as well. Should be a good one.
Wolves v. Tottenham (9:00am, USA Network, Molineux Stadium)The now-officially relegated Wolves will look to play the role of spoiler as Tottenham travel to the Midlands looking for a vital three points in Wolverhampton. This is clear must win territory for the Spurs, as they cannot afford to fall further behind West Ham (and Forest) in their efforts to claw out of the bottom three. Will be interesting to see if Wolves play with more freedom and more relaxed now that their fate is sealed. No game is a sure thing for Spurs at this point, but they have to find a way to come back to North London on Saturday with three points in hand. Will be must watch TV.
Enjoy the weekend.
