Re reclaiming kit from hotels, to be clear (character limit in first tweet)… they weren’t driving to the hotel (!). It wasn’t feasible due to timeframe/availability but was briefly considered.

It's not FIFA or any separate overseeing organization at all. It's a friendly. USSF hosts the event and the refs are paid by them.carl spacklers hat said:
