actually that shot durant had was a great look. scotty went for the home run. it was a coin flip to decide the series. they lost. durant shouldve made it.

It wasn't a bad look necessarily, I just didn't like them taking it with 7.7 left. They were probably hoping for an offensive rebound and a chance to tie, but that's a lot to ask for. I liked going for the 3 & the win, but I just think they could have gotten a better look with 14 or so seconds to work with.

the thunder are the worst in the league when it comes to last second plays to win or tie. trust me on this.

Really? Can't believe I'm telling you of all people this but have a little faith bro. The whole team sans Kobe and Gasol played like complete ass offensively and still beat a good Thunder group that shot FT's like Bird last night. L.A.'s defense is playing fairly well and has the higher end potential to be better than in any of the last three years with Bynum (finally) contributing some in the first round and Artest being a pest.

I don't think it's out of the question to think L.A. could win a game or two in OKC over the course of the series.

I think Lakers lose game 3, and wouldnt be suprised if they lose both. They come back to LA tied 2-2.

the fact is that the lakers are in a dogfight to the finals, and they're prolly gonna get smacked down by lebron.

but no, i picked the lakers in 6 in this series. thunder will win game 3 and lose game 4, win game 5, then lose game 6 in LA

and by "decide the series", if durant makes that 3, and goes to OKC tied 1-1, i think the thunder win the series. russell westbrook is being allowed to do whatever he wants, and durant is about to get superstar treatment of all treatment back in OKC.

The Cavs aren't doing anything they didn't do last year. They need to get past Boston and Orlando first (they will have to play both I believe). I'm more concerned with Denver and the Mavs-Spurs winner at the moment than Cleveland.

Game 3 is an absolute must win for OKC. The Lakers are smart enough to recognize that. We'll find out how strong the champs will is by how they come out Thursday night. I'm not predicting a win, but it wouldn't surprise me.

Great 4th quarter by OKC. Their ability to rebound and get to the line all game long won them this game. Harden deciding to show up for the first time in three games didn't hurt either.

Lakers have got to quit falling in love with the long jump shot (I'm talking to you Kobe) or this is going to be a long series. I'm also wondering where Artest's offensive game from last year's playoffs went. He's been just what the doctor ordered on D but is a black hole on O.

too many 3's late. the lakers need to keep pounding the ball inside and converting shots with their length. even when we were doing this for the first half though, Durant still got more free throws than the entire laker team, and he took primarily shots outside of 10 feet.

no team will win with a 34 to 12 FT disparity and shooting 10-31 from 3.

the lakers have gotten away from what worked in game one. simple is dead on.

i never thought i would say it, but kd on kobe was incredible, as long as he is try to jump shoot over durants length.

and again, no one can guard westbrook.

of course we had a couple laker fans sitting behind us last night. early every shot they made they yelled like it was a highlight reel play. the got quiet mid second quarter. they actually were pretty fun to talk to and made no excuses.

i think kobe had money on the game the other way...passed up way too many good looks and didnt take many shots.

the lakers killed themselves from the line....just atrocious.

jeff green's 3rd quarter helped put the game on ice.

Simplebay...for someone who claims to know as much as you do about basketball, I would think you would realize that Game 5 will be in LA and 6 will be in OKC. It doesn't go 2-3-2 until the finals. That is all.

Winner of this game wins the series. I don't see the Lakers following up three straight losses with two straight wins considering how awful they're playing on offense.

not that it matters because the lakers are actually doing what they should (getting in down low) but Kobe is delivering bigger fore arm shivers to sefalosha than Greg Jones on that UNC db from a few years ago

Well from the looks of it, off the dribble Kobe will not be able to guard Westbrook. Whether or not that gets exposed is to be determined.

kobe has been doing a MUCH better job on westbrook than fisher the past few games.

fisher would go under the high screen and roll, and his "contest" on the jump shot was nothing compared to what kobe is doing.

and thank god the officiating is back to normal, bynum and gasol jump straight up and down and when the okc player jumps into them initiating the contact it's NOT called. hoooray!

it's early...but from a quickness stand point, he can't keep up either. if westbrook is smart he will keep attacking and try and get kobe in foul trouble (ha...yeah right, that'll never happen)

well that's about what i figured. let's see how OKC weathers the storm.
