The Spurs really need McDyess to play quality defense. Duncan is about half the defender he used to be, Blair does a solid job but he's too short (plus Randolph is too tricky), and Bonner might as well stay on the other end of the court.

I still think the Spurs win this series, but I think it's going to take them 6-7 games to do it. Memphis has a better shot of winning this series than the Hornets do of beating LA, at least from my view.
Spurs fans do not realize how bad a matchup this really is.
This is almost a Golden State type of matchup with how it works out.

If the Grizzlies can shoot the 3 efficiently this series will be over in a hurry.

47 ft's basically is a shooting foul being called on Memphis every other minute. That is pretty amazing.

Guys, chill out. They've been playing this way for nearly 3 months now. I don't know why it is surprising.
This is the exact same type of play we saw during the 6 game skid. Lazy passes, careless offensive possessions, tightening up of the spurs bung holes in the 4th quarter crunch time situations.
I was anticipating a close win, but at this point them losing again would not surprise me at all.
