That looked pretty bad. I can't stand Rondo but that was a dbag move by Wade. Guess I shouldn't be surprised.

Looking at the replays, Rondo was pulling Wade and Wade grabbed Rondo as he was going down to try and hold himself up. Didn't look nearly as dirty as when I saw it live.

Probably a serious elbow injury. Hyperextension would be a good diagnosis.

Wade is a piece of shyt. I don't know why the league likes him and pushes him so much.

bayou, it sure looked like Wade hooked him with his leg on purpose but you might be right. Either way, I choose to think Wade is a grade A jackass.

Wade fell back on top of Rondo. Rondo tried to brace his fall with his left arm and the arm bent backwards at the elbow. Not pretty.

Wade slammed him down. They were tangled up after the whistle and Wade chose to do that. That's a dirty play with a freakish injury resulting. Without the injury it's just another dirty hard foul that has been prevalent in this series. Props to Wade and the Heat for taking to the Celtics.

And Shaq or KG need to take Wade out. Wade has had way too many dirty plays this series

I think it was a double ass takedown. Both players are grade A dbs.

Sorry but after watching the replay four times, I don't think Wade "slammed him down.". Agree that it was unnecessary and these teams need to focus on playing basketball and not the extracurricular garbage every 3 plays.

Hopefully rondo recovers and is ready for game 4. No point getting him back out there today if the can hold on to the lead.

I definitely think Shaq needs to put Wade on his ass next time he goes barreling into the paint.

Wade didn't slam anyone down, jeez, they got caught up, Wade fell and Rondo used his hand to break his fall and he landed wrong. Just because you don't like a player doesn;t mean you have to call him a piece of sheet.

And the Heat are playing like crap tonight. Ugh!

I just don't get why the heat are pressuring Rondo every time he touches the ball and making him go left. He's favoring his right side so much.

Chalmers and Jo Anthony need to start. If I see that big Lithuanian good-for-nothing log start I might have to smash my TV. Hope they come to play for game 4.

the real Celtics came to play tonight. Can't believe rondo came back after having his elbow dislocated. I thought he was done for the series and/or playoffs when that happened.

It'll be interesting to see how effective he can be with it going forward, as it was pretty obvious he was playing on pure adrenaline after coming back in. KG and Pierce did their jobs tonight (especially KG, that was a vintage performance).

to win game 4 and truly get back in the series, they have to continue playing defense the way they did to start and in the 2nd half. If they do that and KG stays assertive on the offensive end, I think they could make this a great series and possibly win.

I've only hyperextended my elbow. But I've dislocated my shoulder too many times to count. It hurts like hell immediately. When it's back in place, it instantly feels great. It probably still hurts, but it's ten times better than it was just 2 seconds ago.

But it always felt awful the next day, like you'd been hit by a bus. Lots of swelling and stiffness. (insert innuendo here) Of course, he is pro athlete and has awesome medical staff to help him - so he's in a better situation. But if I was a Celtics fan, I'd be worried about him going forward effectively.
