It doesn't even have to be that complicated. When you compared the pace bird played at versus dirk, it solves the scoring and rebounding discrepancies.

I agree with Cowherd. I love Dirk, and think he's a unique talent that this league has never seen. But he's not on Larry Legend's level. Not even close.

Here's one quote from a Mavericks fan in this thread. Since you have the very stupid habit of thinking one person's opinion represents the entire fanbase, you should now believe that all Mavericks fans think Larry Bird is better than Dirk.
Such a stupid troll. Tell us again how "JJ Barrera" is playing above his average.

I'm sorry that the stats, the experts, and common freakin' sense don't support your Dirk is better than Bird montra

but I'm sorry to say that if someone has an opposing opinion, that doesn't make them a troll...or is that your excuse when you have nothing better to say? you name call like a 5 year old then claim them to be a troll?

No I think you maverick fans that try and include Dirk in the same category as Bird have that distinction.

quote:Now it's same category? You know most of this dialog has come from national figures with respected opinions like Magic, Wilbon, Simmons, Carlisle ...

Dirk Nowitzki sealed the Mavericks' series-clinching win against the Thunder by sinking two free throws with 13 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter to give Dallas a 100-96 lead, which held up as the final score. Nowitzki was 59-for-61 (.967) from the foul line in the Western Conference Finals, setting an NBA record for the highest free-throw percentage in a playoff series (minimum: 50 FTA). He broke the mark held by Larry Bird, who was 47-for-50 (.940) versus the Pistons in the 1987 Eastern Conference Finals.

Interesting note from last night according to the Elias Sports Bureau...

That post went right over your head. Which is about as surprising as a Simplebay troll.
Get off your dad's Texags account, little-foot. Nobody with an Aggie degree should be as stupid as you.

Except apparently you lol...

Or you could just stop making useless posts like the one above.

I'm a Mavs fan in a thread about Dirk. You're a trollish hater who's too big of a puzzy to back a horse in the NBA.
Who's stalking who? Go away troll.

And for the record, I'm a heat fan so thanks for playing.

Absolutely shocking that two weeks ago the troll was too scared to back a team, but suddenly reps the Heat now that, in all likelihood, they'll be playing the Mavericks in the Finals.
I've seen some pretty pathetic displays of blind Dallas hate on this board, but this is just hilarious.
