Lebron is seriously a *****

I think we all wrote off Battier as being washed up, but now he's looking like he's been saving himself for the playoffs. Should have known. Someone said he's playing Carmelo on the perimeter as aggressively as if he was on the block.

Miami plays good D yeah, but the Knicks offensive is like the walking dead right now. Carmelo was terrible, ball movement was almost non existent, and the outside shooters were all way off.

Now Chandler has 4 fouls and Lebron is hot. Hopefully the refs clean up their act but it looks like game 1 is going to go easily to the Heat

New York has no business competing in this series, but Miami owes officiating 10 stand alone points. No way any of NY players should have 3 fouls.

Not that officiating will really matter for Miami until the conference finals.

y'all are ****ing hilarious. LBJ is outplaying the Knicks by himself pretty much. The Heat(up until the last few minutes) have been beating the knicks all over the floor.

The one bad call was giving Chandler a flagrant, the other call with JR Smith in the corner he had hooked Lebron's arm, but lebron did flail to get the call.

Amazing what has happened the last few minutes when the Knicks have shut their mouths and started playing more aggressive, a 9-0 run!

I know y'all hate Lebron with every ounce of energy in your body, but he's putting on a clinic on both ends of the floor. That's why the Heat are up. When the Knicks were playing tough earlier, it was a close game. When they stopped, they got frustrated and started fouling all over the court.

It's the playoffs. I hope all of you will be on the thread in New York when the Knicks are getting all the calls and it is the Heat players who get in foul trouble and are wondering WTF is going on. Although I'm the anger won't be the same.

never said you couldn't talk **** about lebron. Talk **** about whoever you want. I just find it hilarious Spurs fans screaming on a thread about teams they don't care about about how awful officiating is and how much of a "beetch" LBJ is, while he was playing one of the best offensive and defensive games you'll ever see. As long as you're having as much fun with it as I am, then we can have a good time.

said it many a time on this board, I don't have a team in the NBA. Never did. I am a pittsburgh sports fan. I root for players and teams in certain situations in the NBA. I'm a Lebron fan, so unfortunately I have to root for the trash that is the Heat and Dwade. I'd much rather have been rooting for Lebron if he had decided to go to Chicago, LAC, or hell even stayed in Cleveland...but only a moron would stay in cleveland.

Manu flops way more than I would like (though he has gotten a little better since 08 in that regard), but at least he takes a real beating most the time over the course of a game. He's also kind of scrawny.

James could play defensive end on half the teams in the NFL.

There really isn't a comparison there.

I'm going to go out and say that it seems like after blowouts in the playoffs, the other team comes back and win.

Nope. The Knicks might win once at home, but they will lose any game in Miami.

Carmello is a choker punk in the playoffs or on any stage when it matters (olympics). He's a regular season hero.

The internet is a special place where reality is a 33 point blowout = the refs gave the game to the winner.

I think it has been made pretty clear that officiating didn't matter (and won't matter) in this series. The Heat are simply far superior to the Knicks, who wouldn't have even made the Western Conference playoffs.
