The loss of iman shumpert changes things since he was their best perimeter defender and is capable of disrupting wade. Knicks are better when melo is at power forward, but without shumpert they don't have the depth at the perimeter positions to play that way.
i read a synergy stat that said wade averaged 9 points more when Shumpert was on the floor guarding him.
There is a talent void on NY. I'm not real excited about my Miami in 6 pick.

...and now it appears that $100MM Amare has lost a fight with a sharp inanimate object and lacerated his hand. Brilliant...they're in a big hole and the response is to keep digging.

Amare's mental fragility should have gone into any calculations of the Knicks chances of winning this series.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say this series didn't live up to "AWESOME" status.

Yes.
Yes. Lebron amare and tyson is a much better mesh on the floor, and he could handle a lot of the pg duties the Knicks were lacking with injuries and what not
