I think the Heat get by the Celtics without Bosh. LBJ will have to defend Rondo a lot and Haslem is capable of playing solid enough D on KG.

i think the heat will ultimately win the east too, even without bosh, because boston hasnt been impressive at all these playoffs...but even if bosh is back at 80 percent, miami doesnt have the bigs to matchup with s.a. or o.k.c.

The series for the NBA championship starts on Monday. The Spurs or the Thunder would wax OKC or Boston or Philly or Indy.

The fact that Boston and Miami are taking 6 or 7 games each to defeat Philly and Indiana is proof that they aren't ready for the Spurs or Thunder.

Chalmers is awful. I know he has some offensive game, but he is slow on defense and a turnover machine when running the offense. At least 5 possessions this half he's run right by Lebron(when wade wasn't on the floor) and run a terrible possession where LBJ doesn't touch the ball the entire possession or he turns it over.

Wow. lebron just owned the final 30 seconds of the half there.

being a baseball guy by nature, I like that they both got F1's, and it's almost like they each acknowledged that it's even now. Also, He went right at the shoulder, not at the head, even though psycho t flailed hard.

However, since this is basketball not baseball, it should have been clearly a F2 by the letter of the law and haslem should have been ejected. I also agree with the guys in the studio that Artest would have been hauled off in shackles had he committed that foul in retaliation.

I guess karma caught up with Danny Granger in this game with the ankle injury. Indiana can't win without him on the floor.

Haslem has some mystical power over NBA refs.

He fouls constantly on every single possession. Somehow, he rarely gets called for a foul.

rough stretch for that ref earlier...Wade was clearly 3 feet out of bounds and nowhere close to "saving" that ball...then battier throws a pass that is clearly deflected by Indy and goes out, and he gives the ball to Indy.

In the end of the scrum, the right team gets the ball, but that is just awful officiating.

Pittman is a ****ing moron, but he's a hack who barely plays.

Haslem's play was getting even, and while I fully expect the suspension and understand why he'll miss a game, maybe it's the baseball in me on that one.

but Pittman...good lawd. I've said it too many times, I hate rooting for this team because just like their city, more than half are trash..but I'm a Lebron guy so I have to by default.

Just to add fuel to the fire-check on Larry Bird's quote:

I remember he said something like that before this incident. Of course, that was a different era, and if a Pacer did that to DWade, he'd get suspended half of next year.

Indiana called this on themselves, and the Heat obliged. I hope Indianapolis gets demolished in game 6 as well.

I would say an easy suspension for Pittman, but the play was against Lance Stephenson who is probably the most unlikeable basketball player in the world dating back to his junior year in high school.
