It's over tonight. Lebron got his first ring.

yes 1, not 2, not 3, not 4, not 5....

All thanks to Mario Chalmers and Shane Battier.

Nope. Thunder force it back to OKC and from there anything is possible. This team is too talented to lose 4 in a row. My only concern is if they are mentally tough and smart enough to play all 48 minutes

The jinx should have come 72 hours ago. It's too late now.

no team has ever lost an NBA finals after leading 3-1

Thunder may force it back to OKC, but Miami will just win the next one.

HOWEVER, if Miami somehow manages to lose this series, then Lebron will go down as the biggest choker in sports history

one can only hope...

OKC needs Harden to play and shoot well.

I just don't see that happening after last game.

As much as I loathe LeBron, he has played his ass off. But I do agree without Chalmers and Battier, this series is 3-1 OKC right now.

I would have never believed Miami would beat OKC three straight times, especially after what they did to the Spurs. I'll admit when I'm wrong and boy was I.

My only hope is to get this series back to OKC, so at least we won't have to watch the Heat celebrate in front of all their "fans" if the Thunder can't pull off the miracle.

I love how even the LBJ haters validate him even when they don't mean to...by saying "Lebron" will wind up being the biggest choker ever, you are indirectly implying that he is the whole Heat team...if the Heat lose, it somehow falls solely on his shoulders even though he's put up crazy numbers so far in this series....

^^^ uh, precisely.

that's the entire point, and the reason why Lebron is such a scared puzzy. the greatest players of all time are the man on their championship team.

at this point, few would argue that Lebron is not the most talented player on his team. Few would argue he's not the most talented player in the nba.

many would argue lebron is not THE man on his own team. or the olympic team. or the east all star team.

lets look at the last 10 champions:
Dirk - the man
Kobe - the man
Pierce - the man
Duncan - the man
Wade - the man
2004 (forget this happened)
Shaq - the man
Jordan - the man
Hakeem - the man
1989/90 - (forget this happened, Detroit is a fluke city)
Magic - the man

And you will soon add 2012-LBJ-The Man to that list...

actually, the list will remain intact, because dwyane wade is already up there
AustinAg2013
How long do you want to ignore this user?
^not sure if serious...take a look at LBJ's statistics this series. Are you saying D-Wade is "The Man" for the Heat right now? C'mon Man..

Game 4 closeout:

Wade layup
Wade rebound
Lebron airball
*Lebron subbed out*
Chalmers layup
Battier jumpball recovery
Chalmers FTs
Wade rebounds

They don't even need Lebron in the ****ing game to win.

I love how you left out "Lebron clutch 3 pointer" there bud...picking and choosing when the "close out" actually began?? And how is the MOST VALUABLE PLAYER of the NBA not "The Man" on his own team? By your logic, Westbrook is "The Man" on OKC since he had a better game 4 than Durant right? Give me a break. Your basketball IQ must be lacking...either that, or you're just another LBJ hater that refuses to give him his due (even when he's deserving).

Ya.... Let's just forget about the 14 straight games of 25+ points.... Lets forget that he averaged 33 points and 11 rebounds in the ECF.... Let's forget he's averaging 30 & 10 in the finals.... If we forget all of those things then I agree 100%, he is not 'the man' on this team....

How in the world can you claim the guy that leads his team in points, rebounds, assists and steals isn't 'the man' on the team?

Exactly....Some of these guys wouldn't know the game of basketball even if it slapped them in the face...

Im not validating anyone, just stating that, right ir wrong, that is what he will be labeled by the media and basketball fans everywhere. Choker.

I'm one of those Lbj haters, but come on now. Give the guy some credit. He's been phenomenonal. Game 6 vs the Celtics was simply of one the best clutch performances in the history of the NBA.

Lebron is averaging great numbers and is the clear leader of this team.

That's like saying, "Dirk won his first ring last year. Thanks to JJ Barea and Jason Terry."
Simplebay

Brilliant point. because playing with a player who has: NBA champ, scoring champ, finals MVP, 8x All Star, 7x all NBA team, 3x all defensive team is equal to JJ Barea and Jason ****ing Terry.

Pretty sure you could combine both of the stats for those players, times it by 3, and it wouldn't equal Wade.

And....well **** won't even mention the Clever Girl

Congrats to LeBron on finally winning his first ring. He earned the Finals MVP. The "unclutch" talk needs to end. But the "greatest of all time" crap needs to stay silent until he has six Finals MVP's. Until then there is no debate.

Kind of hard to argue with 28.6 points, 10.2 rebounds, 7.4 assists, and 1.8 blocks in the NBA finals while playing high-level defense.

Posing with Bill Russell while holding your Finals MVP trophy is the ultimate prize. I'd like to see a collection of these photos from every season

I'd just like to point out that apparently "the man" for the Heat averaged 7.5 fewer points, 4.5 fewer rebounds, 1.3 fewer assists, .2 fewer steals, and 1 fewer MVP trophies than Lebron James in the playoffs.
