I was mega wrong (picked Thunder in 5). Of course, I based that prediction on the assumption that Perkins + Collison + Ibaka would actually continue to contribute something, but it turns out they shot their wad against SA. None of them did **** against Miami

quote:
Ya.... Let's just forget about the 14 straight games of 25+ points.... Lets forget that he averaged 33 points and 11 rebounds in the ECF.... Let's forget he's averaging 30 & 10 in the finals.... If we forget all of those things then I agree 100%, he is not 'the man' on this team....

How in the world can you claim the guy that leads his team in points, rebounds, assists and steals isn't 'the man' on the team?

This is spot on and I'm not even a LeBron fan.

Lebron:
-Hardly ever rests. During the finals, he played 44, 44, 44, 42, & 46 minutes.

-Usually defends the other team's best scorer (physically draining). Not only that, but he defends at an all star level. He's smothering. No half-assing on the defensive side from LBJ.

-Brings the ball up a fair bit.

-Plays all over the place on offense. Posts up inside, drives the lane, shoots from outside.

Is it any surprise that he's usually running on fumes at the end of games? Not only that, but he's made his fair share of daggers. It's not like he's totally inept in the final few minutes.
