Hope we have a similar effort (with a different outcome) Saturday night...said it earlier, but I was glad to see them bounce back during the game tonight. Beverley brings this team some toughness which is desperately needed...he needs to stay in the starting lineup.

Didn't wanna say anything when it happened, but I believe this was a goaltending on durant. Parsons threw the ball up off the backboard and then he swatted it. It hit the backboard first

This thread seems like it needs a little perspective. No one, even Rockets fans, felt that we could beat the Thunder in a 7 game series.
Anything beyond .500 season is a win for us given the roster that we have.
Lin is a backup, at best. The Rockets did better after he went out after the half. Beverly did well and Westbrook is a punk. But, the Thunder are good. No doubt.
Houston is just getting a little playoff experience while waiting to see who we sign this summer. Hopefully, we don't overpay for Dwight Howard like we did with Jeremy Lin. Howard isn't even the best 5 in the league or conference.

Great game. Very disappointed we couldn't finish the game though. Great fight from the team tonight. This Rockets team played the best in the west to the last second on their home floor. The Thunder didn't lay down or play bad tonight. No, the Rockets nearly won despite a good game from the Thunder. Yes, the Rockets made too many mental mistakes, but there is still reason to be encouraged about the future. These mistakes are correctable. The Rockets are the youngest team in the league. They have zero playoff experience, minus one or two guys, and still took it to the Thunder, a team who now has a ton of playoff experience. Experiences like tonight will serve the Rockets well into the next season and into the future.

This was a great game to see in person. Seems like Rockets fans view Russ like myself and other Houston fans viewed Payton back in the 90s.

Jeremy Lin is questionable for game 3 with a chest contusion....hope that questionable mysteriously turns into doubtful over the next few days....Beverley showed he has the ability to start at PG over Lin the rest of the series

Refs missed a lot. There was about a 2 minute span in the 3rd quarter where Asik was hammered.. no call, then a touch foul on the other end, then we missed a shot and they hit a three and all of the sudden they have their biggest lead and all the momentum. I dont think I can count on one hand how many times Asik goes for a dunk and gets hammered in the face whether they got ball first or not. And very few are called.
We better get some gosh damn favoritism back at home from the zebras like OKC did last night.

^ Chandler's over the top exaggeration of the grab might have distracted the official from the actual foul.
I mean, Perkins does seem to be blocking the ref in the background's field of view. Still, despite the distracting acting and the possible blocked view of one of the officials, someone should have caught it.
