Thunder All-Star Russell Westbrook was hurt when Beverley tried for a steal in the second quarter of Game 2 of the teams' Western Conference first-round series and ran into his knee. Westbrook had knee surgery on Saturday and is out for the season.
The tweets were deleted as of Saturday night, but the Houston Chronicle says a tweet from the handle @MitchellBrwn said: "Patrick Beverly (sic), I'm coming to kill you."
He later sent another one with Beverley's Twitter name, saying: "@pavbev21 I'm coming to kill you."
He later apologized in one tweet and then said he was hacked in another post.
Oklahoma City police captain Dexter Nelson tells The Associated Press that their department is working with the Houston police and the NBA to investigate the threats.
The Thunder says in a statement that they "do not condone his comments. He works game nights on a voluntary basis and the matter will be handled internally."

Pahdz: true story. It usually does. Column made it sound like he was apologizing for one tweet and then saying he was hacked on another. What an idiot.

It ain't the playoffs without at least a couple of death threats.
I liked Beverley's response about growing up in Chicago and having to worry about just walking down the street on a daily basis without getting shot, jumped, mugged, etc....and then talking about playing overseas and fans in Turkey or Greece would throw coins at him....

Hopefully Harden shows up tonight. There is no way the Rockets can pull off a win without him tonight.

Why does Thomas Robinson never play? He seems like the kind of player they could use for defensive purposes right now.

I haven't watched many Rockets games but I can say that he was a mid season acquisition and probably doesn't know the offense yet. Also he's a rookie.
Robinson is lost right now. Hes only been with the Rockets for a little while and is a Rookie.

Its either pick and roll, or set a screen for whoever has the ball. He cant shoot, so he doesnt have to do what the other fours do which is pop out to the corner for an open 3.
Thats the facet of our offense we miss right now. No Morris, and D-Mo just isnt ready for heavy minutes. Thats why Parsons, Delfino, and Garcia have all played the 4 recently.

because he can't shoot, is much shorter than listed (he's about 6'8) and gets abused by the bigger bigs.

Harden is a game time decision. Partying too hard again, probably
I know Robinson isn't good on the offensive end. I thought he was supposed to be a big who could at least provide some help on the defensive end. Maybe not. I wouldn't know because I haven't been able to see him play. It just seems like anyone can blow past our guards and get an easy layup.

Harden has a cold, hes fine. McHale already said he is playing. Lin is game-time decision hopefully he doesn't play. Even if he does play sounds like it will be limited minutes off the bench.
