LeBron is free to say whatever he wants and we are free to call his opinions asinine. It shouldn't matter what one of his teammates does in the privacy of his bedroom. Why does LeBron need to know that in order for the guy to be a good teammate? I agree that many people bash LeBron just to bash him. You seem to be on the opposite end of the spectrum supporting him no matter how stupid he's being.

As for words changing, that is the point. 40-50-60 years ago, gay meant you were happy. Use that word today and it means...what? A gay guy is homosexual. Gay is the PC word for being homosexual; it sounds nicer.

My question would be whether Jason Collins had sexual relations with Carolyn Moos? The former WNBA player that he had an 7 year relationship with was engaged to marry until he broke it off in 2009.

Surely he did. I can't imagine a woman staying with someone that long without having sex...unless they had a plan to save themselves for marriage, etc.

Ok then, if it doesn't matter what teammates do in the privacy of his own bedroom, then why did he feel the need to announce to the world he was gay, in essence displaying what he does in his own bedroom? If it doesn't matter why make it an issue? Lebron didn't need to know until Jason Collins shoved it in everyone's face (figuratively not literally.) Did lebron come out and make these comments before jason collins was in sports illustrated and all over sportscenter? No; Jason Collins made this an issue, not Lebron...

Yeah, why exactly does LeBron need to know what goes on in Jason Collins bedroom at night? As long as he doesn't make any sexual advances on anyone (which doesn't appear to be the case since everyone was shocked by the announcement), what does it matter? Jason Collins doesn't owe LeBron a damn thing as far as full disclosure on his sexuality. That's ridiculous to think otherwise

To start off, I don't really care if some gay guy changes in the same locker room as me or showers. It's whatever.

However, I can see how some people may be weirded out by it. I mean, it's the same thing as you hanging out in the girl's locker room around them changing or showering. You may not be looking and just stare at the floor tiles, but some of them are going to be uncomfortable. No matter how you act or what you say, some of them are going to think you're checking them out, it's just a fact of life.

Do I agree with it? No, again, I don't care. However, I can see where they're coming from. In all honesty, though, I think what Collins did will help to break that wall down. If no anecdotes come out of him hitting on teammates or making them uncomfortable, then people have to accept the fact that he had a pretty long NBA career without anybody being offended by his presence.

Lebron wanted to say what Tim Hardaway said, but he knows better so he said that stupid **** instead. I wish he would just say how he really feels.
