I certainly was. If you'd told me a few days ago that we'd go 2 of 3 with the two wins being the Warriors and Nuggets, I'd say there's no way.

Very impressive win last night. Got into Denver at 6am after a 2OT against the Warriors to play a game the same night. Came out with 42 in the first quarter. No way last years team does that. This is fun.

IMO this is the best part.

I doubt we win anything big this year, the team is too thin at a few positions. That said, there are really 2-3 teams every year you can claim are legitimate shots to win it all.

I'm much happier watching this edition of the team, which scores and plays great offense, than a team with JSmoove and Dwight on it.

That doesn't sound accurate.

I think we may use him as our big in small line ups. I can't see him eating much in to Anderson's minutes. It'll be Harrell & Nene.

Honestly, the only way I see this hurting the Rockets is if it messes up the team chemistry. To this point MDA hasn't given me a reason to doubt he can make it work, so whatever....

I'm a huge DMo fan, but the events of his contract negotiation have made my fandom waver a bit.

Maybe I'm just an ignorant fan who doesn't understand the player's side, but in situations like DMo's its hard for me to not have a "shut up and play ball" sentiment eventually.

This makes this years team better. I have to wonder if there is bad blood with D Mo for the Rockets not offering anywhere near this deal initially.

But the contract is constructed as such that if he isn't healthy, he can be waived and the guaranteed money is pretty much nothing. Looks like a low risk move to me.

Take it FWIW, but the rumblings I have heard have had more to do with BJ Armstrong (D-Mo's agent) being upset with D-Mo's contract than D-Mo himself. Who knows really though.
