This team is rolling.
I hated the D'Antoni hire in the offseason, I hated the lack of effort to go after Durant, I hated the signing of Eric Gordon, I hated not having a 1st round draft pick, I hated Les Alexander's increased effort to be more involved with team operations.
Man am I glad I'm not running the team. Praise Daryl Morey and his brilliance.

I don't agree. MLB is a different animal than NBA. Sure both systems are about value, but Billy Bean is limited by his organization. He can win some games with a fraction of the payroll. There is a cap in the NBA and payroll is mostly the same. The Warriors already proved it to be effective at the highest level by winning a title and setting the regular season win total.Texaggie7nine said:

Huh? Beane got the best talent he could with the budget he had in a league with no salary cap.... NBA has a salary cap and Morey ball is the style of offense we run.
In my sentence I actually explained how they were similar. Bean made the statement that his system would get a team to the playoffs but that's it. Moreys system had done the same for the Rockets. I didn't say they were similar in what they addressed.

From my understanding, and I could be wrong, this deal now includes the incentives that we originally were going to leave out. However, I am assuming Morey said he wouldn't give in on that aspect unless he could get the trade possibility after 90 days and the team option every year. This actually worked out great.Quote:

Absolutely, he is going to struggle to get in shape. And with the way Montrez and Sam are playing, they may be better options anyways.
Well I for one am very excited to see how Coach Pringles uses DMo in the new offense. Hopefully he unlocks DMo's potential like he has for every player on our team not named Corey Brewer.
