Win a championship
In the past 25 years, only two teams have had a player average over 7.5apg and won the championship and no championship team had a player average over 8.2apg (Kidd in 11). So maybe I don't build around A, B or C.
Yes, exactly I want less assists
OR.... you want more players creating assists. Warriors are killing the league in assists per game with no one averaging over 7.0/game.
The Warriors also have 4 all-stars in their starting lineup that are capable of distributing the ball very well. Our only dangerous passer is Harden.
Exactly my point. How many teams win the championship with just one player that can create offense? No matter how good that player is (and Harden is playing like a world beater) they always get bounced from the playoffs without other players that can create for themselves and others.
So you want 4 All Stars. Ok, who does't?
Now what does that have to do with the original question?
Is it even possible for you to make an argument without the use of fallacies?
Can you make an attempt to discuss basketball logically and reasonably?
The point is pretty clear and other people seem to get it. You can build a championship team with any of those guys. But it matters what you put around them. Pretty much every title team in the modern era have a few things in common.
1. Multiple players that can create high percentage shots for themselves and others.
2. A solid defense with (at least one) elite defender in the starting lineup. They can get stops down the stretch.
3. Solid role players at the non-elite positions. Don't have to be world beaters, but guys that can hit clutch shots and/or defend.
I think you could center a championship team around dozens of NBA players as the main focal point. But you have to create each team differently and you need to fill up those roles.
And without a second player that can create offense, no team is going to win it all, especially with two super-friends teams right now.
