Agreed. Come out and shoot a ton of threes. If you're hot, we'll keep it close. If not, see how the game progresses and rest your guys for game 7.
Completely agree. Our only way of winning is of we stay on fire from three like we did against them in game 2 and against the Spurs in game 1 last year. I'd also unleash road ryno seeing as we have nothing to lose.
I completely disagree. We need to make this game ugly. We need to attack the rim early and often. We need to be very physical on the defensive end. They have shown they don't really like physicality, so let's punch them in the face until their nose is broke.
We don't have enough offensive firepower in our lineup for that. If we trot out a 7 man rotation with luc instead of cp3 we won't even get to 90 points and James will lay another egg if he's asked to play 48 minutes while making threes and playing good defense.
Eric Gordon can drive as well. I'm saying I would like to see us start this way and set the tone.
I don't think our shooting whoas are because we aren't getting hot, I think it's because GS plays really good defense. Also, GS is really good at taking missed shots and running down the floor to get easy transition baskets. If we unleash a barrage of 3s and come out cold, we could be down 15-20 in a matter of minutes. Then we're stuck trying to get hot behinf the arc to play catch up.
What are you going to do in game 7 if CP3 can't go?
I'd rather continue to be physical with them, which has worked, and force the issue to get to the line.
We weren't going to be able to play a physical brand of defense for 48 minutes anyway. Let Gordon carry some of the load penetrating as he did in Q1 of game 4 and Q4 of game 5.
