So the Rockets exited the NBA Trade Deadline with both Eric Gordon and Christian Wood still on the roster, no additional draft picks or young players, and ended with an admission that their big offseason signing was a mistake.

If you think the Nets won the trade, you have to believe in Simmons. That's fair. Outside of that they gave up nothing for James Harden. A guy who peaked as the 3rd or 4th best player in the league. And a clear top 10 player in the league for a decade when healthy.

I think the FO is over thinking this one. Maybe they are interested in a "veteran" presence, but I'm not sure Schroder is the guy they want mentoring the kids.
