Shams reporting that James missed the deadline for exercising next years player option. You know the 76ers are ****ting bricks now knowing that if they don't completely bend over backwards for James he will just leave again.

It is always something with that guy.

Also, not surprising to see the reporting coming out of Brooklyn that James acted like a baby and gave no effort when they didn't bend to every demand he had on the floor. Classic James.

Nobody is questioning whether James is a great player or not. Like always his immaturity is hs biggest enemy and the reason he constantly melts down when it matters most. Part of the reason we are the worst team in the league was how James handled leaving here, after the franchise bent over backwards to cater to his every whim.

He's the greatest find of Morey's career. He's going to give him back full reigns of his team.

All signs point to James not wanting to be in Brooklyn because he was not treated like he was in Houston (with full control). One of the struggles Morey had in Houston was finding the right pieces to put around Harden, and when he finally did it got bit by the injury bug. Harden goes to Brooklyn where those pieces are waiting but he is not the alpha and doesn't call the shots. Plus 1/3 of that plan is flaky as **** (looking at you Kyrie).

In the end the push to get Harden to Philly seems like Morey is asking for a do-over. Now he has paired him with Embiid, and can go out and try to build around James. For his sake, hopefully with better pieces than he was able to allocate in Houston....

Eff James Harden. He's never going to win anything. He's a zeta (not even a beta).

Embiid is averaging 29/11/5/2, so that certainly seems like better than anything he had elsewhere.
Tobias gets **** on a lot because he is overpaid, but he is the 3rd option now, putting up 49%/35% for 19/7.
Maxey is putting up great numbers (47/40 shooting for 17/5) as a #3 option, now #4.
Green and Thybulle are great defenders and Green can still hit 3s.
Remains to be seen if Millsap can provide any usefulness off the bench for Embiid's backup.

There's a lot of talent on that team, but Harden isn't the same Harden from a few years ago. I hope they get crushed by Milwaukee.

Also the Rockets site ticketing service includes resale tickets, sometimes lower than face. That's about the best deals you will find unless you want to take your chances with craigslist.

I have been buying off of Stubhub since FlashSeats became AXS. The fees are ridiculous but still come out to well below face value for the 4 or 5 games I've been to this season.

Jalen has been playing really well lately. He developed a bit of a midrange game and has been much more active on defense.

I originally thought we drafted the wrong guy and the first few months of the season supported that opinion; however, what I've seen over the last month has steadily eroded that stance. He still has a long way to go, but his growth has been encouraging.
