I still can't believe we got rid of Bertans' contract, brought back trade exception money, and still got the guy they wanted at 12. I'm not sold on Lively and think he definitely needs time, but if he pans out he's what this team needs.

Since Dallas is trying to add depth, they will probably be more aggressive. With many teams trying to dump salaries, they may be more likely to use it.
The difficulty is that Dallas doesn't have a lot of draft capital to use it with.

Buddy told me he just read an article that said he has the lowest usage rate of any first round pick in the last 20 years. So we've got that going for us. Maybe duke was just load managing him for his one year in college.
