Yanks lose 3 straight. This time 6-0 to the O's.

Kennedy had another rough outing. Hughes and Kennedy are not producing early, at all, as Kennedy was chased in the 3rd. Orioles pitched them tough, but got out of a few jams early. A-Rod goes 2-4 in the game. Chamberlain is back from tending to his dad (who is doing much better), but Farnsworth is suspended 3 games for throwing at Manny Ramirez.

Tomorrow is Pettite vs. Trachsel. The game starts at 1:35. I look for it to be over sometime around midnight.

Barring a ninth inning meltdown from Rivera, Yanks stop the losing streak at 3. (rain delay...again)

Pettite pitches 7 strong shutout innings. Good to see since Mussina has absolutely stunk it up, and Kennedy/Hughes have been...well...sub-par. Pettite lost a perfecto in the 5th.
Giambi is batting .109. Somebody needs to call Canseco and get JG hooked up, quick. A-Rod and Jeter look strong, but the Yankees aren't getting a lot of production from the bottom of the order. Combine that with poor starting pitching, and you get .500 baseball.

A-Rod is listed day to day with a strained quad, and Posada is expected to catch starting Tuesday against the ChiSox.

And thanks for blowing a 5 run lead, Rangers.

Another great win by the Sox! They've now won 9 of the last 10. And, (as "Yankees" called it) their no hit wonder (Clay Buchholz) pitched 6 innings of shutout ball. I'd say he is ready for the MLB wouldn't you Yankees? You never did answer that from the last thread.

And your boy Hughes had another great outing huh? Just admit that I was right. You'll feel better about yourself.

Hughes and Kennedy are looking like just another pair in a long line of overhyped Yankee prospects.

Yankees: Wang vs. Contreras tonight at Comiskey. (I refuse to call it whatever company...it's Comiskey, dammit) Jaba stays a set-up man. A-rod will start. Rumors are starting to pop up in the media here about CC Sabathia wearing pinstripes next year, and maybe by July.

Boston: Riding high with Beckett taking the mound against an underperforming Weaver. Should be a great series with the Angels.

I have a business meeting in NJ in June. We're hoping to get tickets to see Yankee Stadium before the house that Ruth built is retired. Any suggestions on getting tix? Is it difficult?

Sox have won two in a row in the 9th inning. I have faith when they are a couple of runs out of it by the 7th. The Sox have a deep bull pen and they can usually pull together in late innings off the opposing pens.

I'm finishing up grad school at Columbia right now, and next year I'll be a TAC (in charge of training, mentoring, and leading a cadet company of about 130 cadets....)

We'll be on leave in June, but Yanks tickets are hard to find this year at face value because it's the last year. However, the stadium is huge and you can find tickets to mid-week games.
