They mentioned the ATT/DirectTV thing this morning on 610. Said that they would be reorganizing the network to make it a Root Sports Network owned by 60% DirecTV and 40% ATT. Plan is to carry it on DirecTV, ATT Uverse, and Comcast.

As a very satisfied U-Verse customer, I approve.
I watched a Pirates game on Root and it was pretty solid as far as production quality goes.

That's not the case for the other Root Sports Regional Networks (Northwest, Pittsburgh, Rockies), so why would that be the case here? Check out the regional websites. Everything from pre- & post-game studio shows to local HS coverage. 24/7. It's going to be GREAT.
