Yep. I like Qualls - he's been getting me nice numbers and saves for my fantasy team but the A's have his number.

It was hard to get too upset with him for a broken bat single and a blooper (and a stolen base that would have been an out with a better throw), but giving up the dinger to a guy with no power sucked.

So we now love Carter and hate Qualls correct?

I don't hate Qualls. I just don't understand the rationale in not trading him, unless we were only being offered cases of sun flower seeds and shag balls. He's 36, not part of the long term plan, and he's really a set-up man, not a closer. The only thing he has going for him is that he's our closer making set-up man money, so I hope this isn't the front office being cheap instead of capitalizing on an asset. I'll just assume we weren't offered anything worth a **** for him.

Probably weren't offered much and Qualls is on the cheap for us next year which will probably be his last. He's a good guy to have in the pen and on the staff as a mentor to the young guys. Also, he used to be a helluva craps player on St. Louis trips back in the day.

Well to be fair it starts at 7 so you could catch half of it but we are goin out after the win. May still catch a little bit of it though
