Luhnow has now fired Keith Bodie (Corpus Christi manager), citing "philosophical differences"

eh, they do own the Hooks, so I guess I can understand that.

I haven't been to an Astros game all year, and I didn't think I was going to be able to since I moved out west this summer, but I was able to go to the game yesterday. Lots of fun.

maybe he'll notice that the ballparks he is visiting are full of people, and ours is empty. I haven't been in a while, and have only been to Dodger stadium outside of MM/Astrodome, I wouldn't know what to upgrade.

I'd assume that if they make improvements, I think they'll probably remove Tal's hill, which I wouldn't be in favor of

I remember hearing that he worked with Strom to come up with some mechanical change a few starts ago. Maybe he was tipping his pitches? Maybe something else? Whatever was the problem appears to be gone.

Peacock just needs to be more efficient. Too many times he is up near 100 pitches after the 5th inning. With our bullpen being as sketchy as it is, I would rather not rely on them to get us through 4 innings each time Peacock starts

Strom most certainly needs to stay on this staff. What he's done with our pitching (sans the pen) is awesome.

They've been itching to get rid of it. As if Minute Maid needs shorter dimensions. However offense is way down now that steroids are gone.

The improvement I would like is to take some of the gaudy ads down. The ones on the wall and the stupid "Eat More Fowl" signs. I think they could do away with the restaurant and put something better there as well.

With the state of the TV fiasco and the low attendance those gaudy ads are a major source of revenue and I doubt they simply take them down.

I'd like to see more seats in the outfield. Like extending the Crawford boxes all the way around. Some of the great memories we had at the Dome were sitting out in the 'cheap seats'. Think it would be cool to even do some sections as bleachers with backs rather than seats that are real cheap seats.

They also do something with that Coca-Cola plaza thing that's way up there in right-center.

I think the Juice Box is one of the best stadiums in baseball (of course, I'm a little biased!). But I love the uniqueness of it. It also has a very small feel to it, which I really like. That place can get rockin' (too bad it hasn't recently). Once the #Process starts turning things around, I feel like it's going to be getting loud a lot. Astros fans have been itching for good baseball for more than 1 decade it seems now. If we get a team within a playoff shot, this town will show support.

I do not want them to remove Tal's Hill. I do want them to lower food and beer prices. They make us pay outrageous ticket prices, and then charge us $8 a beer for us to drown our sorry! That just ain't right. I like the train. I like the scoreboard. And I like the arches.

The hill most definitely needs to go. Its a joke, an injury waiting to happen and it reminds everyone of its namesake, Tal Smith.

Seeing as it's been there the entire time and no one has been injured, I'd say it's far from an injury waiting to happen.

Pointless...Maybe but using injury as reasoning is a far stretch.

I really don't know how you could add more seats. The Crawford Boxes are incredibly close already, you could not make left center that short, too. I assume that he is looking at food and beverage type stuff. If they took away Tals hill and made center field shorter, they could put in a pool

I heard they wanted to put a pool in center field originally but it was directly in the hitters eye

**** jd. He had his chances here and sucked. Saw an interview on espn and he said he changed his swing and that had a lot to do with his hitting. Why didn't he do that when he was an astro?!?!?
