Consdiering most analysts believed, before the season started, that if we stay under 100 losses it's a successful season. So 70 wins would be grand.

I'm not one to lose games on purpose, but if we didn't win much more, we could get a much better pick. Lots of teams right around our area, could be anywhere from 4th to 9th, depending on who wins.

As much as I'd love to finish with a better record than the Red Sox, I wouldn't mind being passed by Boston and Minnesota and having the 2nd and 4th picks in the draft

Never going to win anything with Dominguez's .215 batting average, and less than 20 homers. He's an above average defender, but Panda is pretty much better at everything.

However, I'd like to see us make a legitimate offer to some of the great starting pitchers heading to free agency- Lester, Scherzer, Shields. Or even to get a real closer like Uehara.

you know Altuve doesn't want to sit. But it would be a big deal for the organization to bring home a batting title. If V-Mart goes 3-4, Altuve still is the champ.

I would not suprise me to see Altuve keeping up with Martinez. And if he is 0-2 real quick, to lobby coming into the game.
