Gonna be good! Starts Tuesday 10/21.

The series matchup I was hoping for when it began. Interesting mix considering they were both the two biggest underdogs going into the playoffs. However, with the creation of the Royals as a Cinderella story by the media, the Giants have turned into a significant underdog in this series from the perception of a majority of people. Ignoring that side of things, I'd say both teams are pretty evenly matched but have dramatically different strengths and weaknesses. Looking forward to it and hoping for a 7 game tight series, but would be ok with a 4 game sweep by the giants if all the games are decided by 1 run. Heh.
Still upset I have to work instead of going to AT&T next weekend, but at least we're in again.
It's funny, I had the game recorded last night because I got off work late, and of course somewhere around the fifth inning I suddenly got a bunch of texts from people, followed soon after by the sound of fireworks. Still finished the game, but knew exactly when it would end.

Can't wait!

I'm still in shock the Royals are here. I was sitting in the stands on Sept 30 and thought the season was over in the 6th....one of the greatest sporting events I've ever attended.

No matter what, it's been a awesome few weeks in KC. Whole city has turned blue.

a general comment about the last 10 years of MLB...it's remarkable how the Red Sox first and the Giants second have completely changed the perception (and success) of their respective franchises.

Through the 80's, 90's, and 00's; baseball fans thought of the Giants as one of those teams that made the playoffs every 4 or 5 years or so; had a few great seasons (87, 89, 02); had some great players; nice new ballpark; but never put it all together on a regular basis or in the postseason. And now all of sudden, SF may win their 3rd world series in 5 years

Perez just swung at a pitch that hit 2 feet in front if the plate. Why would any pitcher in baseball throw him a strike? At this point, gore would be a better option as a hitter.

This will be an ugly, short series unless the royals learn to hit again.

That's cheap for the World Series. SRO tickets are going for over $500 at AT&T for games 3&4.

NorCal is right. Tickets at AT&T are over a grand for average seats.
Id go for it if I were you. If I didn't have to work I'd be at the games Friday and Saturday. This might never happen again...

i saw on stub hub a few days ago that parking passes are over 300.

I understand that 'relative' to open market prices it's cheap. They are actually MLB tickets. His sister does marketing for MLB and that's how he got them. The $225/ea is face value so they're actually decent seats. I just can't convince myself it's worth it.....I know, some of you think I'm a cheap skate and you're probably right.

My son is a big soccer fan. Watches, plays....I know I'll get roasted for this, but if it was a World Cup soccer game I'd go no questions asked.

He's going to list his two extra's on stub hub and more than cover the cost of his two tickets.

My dad is still kicking himself for not taking my brother and I to the WS when the astros were in it. Especially if you can get cheap tickets, just go to the game. Get there a few hours early and there'll be plenty to do. It's something that yall will remember forever
