They asked him about the rotating catcher thing before the game last night and he basically said they're equal players so he'd continue with the rotation.

Pathetic that Arenado is in over Bregman. Doesn't Bregman have as many hits in one game, as Arenado have the whole tournament? Look he is a really good player, but he has been a black hole this entire tournament. Plus this has been a waste for Bregman as far as getting ready for the season.

Please tell me that someone else saw the fantastic exchange during the pregame show while they were talking about switch hitting. They had just showed Harold Reynolds interview Beltran in a pre-recorded spot, and they really dug into how he got started hitting from both sides, what his approach was from each side, etc. Great segment all around. And then...
Cut back to live action, random MLB/ESPN type is at the desk with Reynolds and Pedro Martinez (and another player, but I wasn't paying attention to who... Texiera maybe?). Pregame guy asks Pedro, with a straight face, what his approach was from the mound and how it differed when facing Beltran from the left side vs the right side.
Credit to Pedro and the rest of the crew for not embarrassing the guy as Pedro simply explained that he never faced Beltran on the right side, and that as a right handed pitcher, Beltran always hit left handed.
That dude gets paid to talk about sports.
