This is why the world series atmosphere will suck compared to the ALCS or ALDS. Majority of people who can afford it are corporate hacks
I went to all home Playoff games before the WS. I went to Game 3 of the WS on Friday and let someone else use my ticket Sat and Sun.
I don't really regret it other than missing such a great game last night. I sat all over the park during the playoffs, we had field level 1st base side, club section both 1st and 3rd base side. The ALCS was a crazier environment than the WS game I went to friday and I sat in the lower field level on the last row, so I could see the entire section.
They stood a lot less during big pitches or at bats. The yelling was not as loud.
Don't get me wrong. It was a crazy atmosphere and worth attending as a bucket list item, but I got the feeling that many of the people there were bandwagon type fans that just went because they could afford it and it was a once in a lifetime type opportunity.
The park was definitely more packed than I have ever experienced in my life. Taking 20 mins go walk just a few sections. It reminded me of being at Kyle Field for the first home game we played Bama.
