Disappointing to get only 1 there. I would have made him throw 2 more strikes there and see Altuve with bases loaded if he can't. He was on the ropes and we let him off the hook.

If the Astros are going to win, they HAVE to come through with runners in scoring position. That has eaten our lunch in the games we lost. Astros pitchers are going to give up runs, the Nats are too good to be held to 0.

Have not been able to score outside of first inning in any of our loses. Scherzer is really laboring. Need to keep doing what we are doing and get his pitch count up. At his pace he could be out in the 4th inning. Finally scored in the 2nd and team looks loose and focused. Greinke looks locked in and ready to kill.

He put a good swing on it, but the control wasn't there. I think I'd rather see him throw a couple more pitches. Don't hate the Springer swing at all, he tattooed it, but Scherzer was laboring there and now gets to go rest.
