Late to the party but here's the dope smoking outlook (positivity everywhere). Sorry mazag08, coaching life keeps me busy.
The pitching talent depth that the Astros have built is going to continue to show this year. The list of arms that we really didn't have on the radar at this time last year is just staggering.
I'm stopping there, but that's just insane depth. Everyone of those guys are not lower level prospects, they are all knocking on the door.

I expect nothing less than another 100 win season, and with the Rangers and Seattle tanking we could push it into 105+ territory in my opinion.
Here's my unsane Astros predictions:
I've said it many times and I'll say it again. Luhnow is turning us into the Cardinals. There's an old saying amongst the scouting circles about "Cardinal magic." They always seem to acquire guys that other teams couldn't figure out, make shrew move after shrewd move, and keep a line of pitching arms knocking on MLB's door.
This is how you make a window last for decades. Not years.
The pitching talent depth that the Astros have built is going to continue to show this year. The list of arms that we really didn't have on the radar at this time last year is just staggering.
- Whitley (ok, he was on our radar)
- James (seriously, who even knew him 1 year ago)
- Martin (we know him because he's an Aggie, but who had him nearly winning the #5 spot 1 year later)
- Brandon Bialek (I honestly didn't know much about him until AJ Hinch raved about him all spring)
- Rogelio Armenteros (not as heralded as most but has been a producer at all levels)

- Reddick struggles.
- Yuli struggles.
- Peacock loses his 5th starter spot to one of the youngsters.
- Tyler White is the 6th most productive hitter on the team according to wRC+ #sorrynotsorryBearkat
- Forrest Whitley is a Charlie Morton type playoff hero.
- Astros win World Series.

When will the Astros have a better TV deal? How long will they be stuck on AT&T Sports Southwest? At some point I am hoping that the distribution gets better or they can get out of the deal.

If those bets were all actual bets you could place in Vegas, I'd have the most trouble betting on Bregman. Too many outside factors at play in the MVP race.

Apparently we have a very lucrative TV deal so I wouldn't expect it to change anytime soon.

The "watch live" option won't be there until close to game time
The biggest annoyance in my life living in DFW is finding the games on tv are impossible. Myself and the MLB streams on reddit are best friends
Altuve's size still makes him an historical outlier so only natural that the odds would still discount him.
