Let's hope so, though I don't think Bauer will ever be an astro given that both Bregman and Cole have issues with him.
He was a solid hitter and likable dude during some rough years in Enron Field.Farmer1906 said:
Me too. He's a good dude. Never stopped rooting for him.
He got to throw six innings in the big leagues today.tjholley16 said:
Kind of feel bad for Sneed. They are clearly just going to make him stay out there when he is not ready or on today.

According to MLB Network insider Peter Gammons, the Astros did almost as much work evaluating Blue Jays right-hander Marcus Stroman as they did on Verlander in 2017. Houston ultimately acquired Verlander, and he helped the club win the World Series the same year.
The Astros "saw much they liked" in Stroman, per Gammons, who suggests the righty would make sense as a target this season.
Stroman is under team control through next season, and he would provide the Astros with insurance in case Cole, Miley and McHugh leave as free agents this offseason.
How can you say no to that?Deluxe said:
Martin and Fisher for Stroman and Biggio

How is a guy named Stro-man not on this team already?
