I could see Luhnow making the big trade for a Stroman, Bauer, Syndergaard type and a lesser move like the Fiers deal to get this team two starters.

I think the 2nd starter could wait until the off-season but the top end starter needs to happen last week.

Well, that was a waste of perfectly good club seats...kinda felt like it wasn't going to be our day when Reddick lined into the double play...well, and Peacock's bed****tery of a first inning.

3rd starter should be priorities 1 through 10 at the moment.

Luhnow brought in Verlander, Brantley, Cole, Chirinos, Osuna and Pressly to name a few. We can expect him to make another home run acquisition in the coming weeks.
I love Texas Aggie sports, but I love Texas A&M more.

They can sack the F up if they have problems with him. He'd be a great addition here.

He'd be brought in to help win a championship. If they don't want that then they're not the pros we thought they were.

Even with the losses lately, I have to say, "We are really spoiled." In the last two years, I've been to the parks in Oakland, Baltimore and tonight, Miami.

The product on their fields is terrible. The presentation by the stadium crews were terrible. Oakland Coliseum is awful. Camden Yards and Marlins Park are beautiful, but the stands at both games were more than half empty. The games I went to had no atmosphere.

In Houston, that's not the case. Minute Maid is awesome. The Astros are always entertaining.

Camden was a fun trip in the Ripken years when it was still the centerpiece of the Baltimore harbor revival. But 3 years of losing in a stadium that's nearly 30 years old now probably produces a different environment.

Can't speak for Cole, but I'm fairly sure bregman doesn't have that big of a beef with Tyler. They were hanging out at a wedding together in the off-season, looked like they were having a great time.

The Astros "saw much they liked" in Stroman, per Gammons, who suggests the righty would make sense as a target this season.

Stroman is under team control through next season, and he would provide the Astros with insurance in case Cole, Miley and McHugh leave as free agents this offseason.

I was there for a meeting last week and it was open, I think its a fairly standard practice. If I was operating that thing I would be hella-nervous that it might get stuck open one day in the middle of Summer
