Again...His predecessor has made it easier on him but Espada has been spot on with his approach and plan.

I'm really hoping he works out and prove to be our mainstay at the helm and see this thing through for years to come.

Is it his 2 game suspension carried over from ALCS? I hadn't heard any injury news otherwise.

While I generally agree, it feels like every time someone tries to rehab an elbow injury instead of TJ, it just pushes out the inevitable. I'm not sure I can name a player that successfully rehabbed an elbow and didn't need TJ within the next 2 seasons or so. If you're going to miss half a season rehabbing the elbow, might as well just get the surgery over with and be healthy for next season. I realize that is a difficult decision to make. I don't know the specifics of the Cole injury though.

. Seriously doubt we see him all year and some if not all of next. This is mirroring the JV issue years ago. Just happened in spring training not after the first couple starts.
