I hope this doesn't happen. I was too young to see Willie Mays play in his prime. But I do remember him finishing his career by returning to New York with the Mets. It was sad seeing him misplay routine fly balls. To me that's a small stain on a really great career (I think he could have been the first 50/50 player if the Giants had wanted him to be). I don't want to see JV end up like that.
