A series loss where the offense is mostly just asleep, never adjusts to the game or the pitcher, starters can't throw enough shutout innings to overcome it, stealing one game when gifted a late run on a balk and wild pitch to get back in it, feels like a blueprint for how this team will lose in the playoffs.
